Greetings from Mexico!

If I could chose a place to update my blog from for the rest of my life, this would probably be it.  I’m sitting on my balcony, with my legs up on the little table and enjoying the warm summer breeze.  We made it to Mexico and it is gorgeous!

We almost didn’t make it though.  While everyone in my house usually sets their own alarm to make double and triple sure that we wake up in time, that didn’t happen this time.  I woke up to a huge comotion and my mom running into my room saying we’re late.  We woke up at 5:15 and our flight was scheduled to take off at 6:45.  We barely made it to the airport, we were the last ones to get on the plane!

Luckily our flight went smoothly and we landed in Mexico at 11:30 local time, ready to make the most of our first day here.  First thing we did was get lunch.  We were starving! So far the food is pretty good, we’ve only been to the buffets, but tomorrow night we’re going to the Japanese restaurant for dinner. After lunch we took a walk through the whole resort, the place is pretty huge.  We finally found a spot by the pool that was perfect for us. A little bit secluded and not by the ‘party’ pool so munchkin doesn’t have a heart attack from the loud music.

We had dinner and everyone passed out right after except for me, as usual.  I am going to get to bed soon, I want to be up at 5:30 to watch the sunrise tomorrow! I wanted to add more pictures to this post, but the internet here stinks and it takes like 10 min to upload one.
