I have a confession to make. Remember when I came up with the super, great, new plan to fit in everything I want to do in a day into a day. Well, it hasn’t been really working. I still make it to school and to work on time, but I haven’t worked out since I started working. That is, until today. Instead of hitting the snooze button, I got my butt out of bed and hit the elliptical for 30 minutes.
Even though those 30 extra minutes of sleep feel so good in the morning, but I’ve been feeling so run down and sluggish lately and I’m thinking it’s because my body needs some movement. It only takes 21 days to form a habit, so I hope that I can stick to my morning workouts long enough to make it a habit. Keep your fingers crossed for me darlings!
P.S. Today’s title is a nod to a song that I haven’t been able to get out of my head for two weeks now. Any guesses to what song it is? Check if you guessed right!

Onto the eats! Yesterday, I had some good food in the little time, given the little time I had to make it.
For breakfast, I made some oats in a jar. Munchkin helped me polish off my jar of White Chocolate Wonderful on Monday, but I kept the almost empty jar for some oaty goodness.
I made the oatmeal the way I usually do, half water, half milk, sprinkle of cinnamon and half a banana. But instead of throwing it into a bowl, I poured it into the jar to absorb all the leftover peanut butter bits. Soo good!
For dinner, if you can call it that, I made tuna salad. I took a can of tuna in water, added in two hard boiled eggs, half a red bell pepper and some corn. I mixed it all up with a bit of light mayo and used crackers to scoop it up.
It filled me up and kept me full all night long. I didn’t even eat the yogurt I brought as a snack for school.
Time to get ready for another day at the office. TGIT = Thank god its Thursday! I have Fridays off. 🙂
Have a great day!
Do you wake up when the alarm rings or are you a snoozer?

I've been wanting tuna salad lately and I don't even know why. I'm not a huge tuna fish fan. Your salad looks good and I love the idea of dipping crackers in it. Yum! 🙂
I always wake up when the alarm goes off. I have a long commute to work so every second counts.

I had been craving tuna lately too so this totally hit the spot. I'm a horrible snoozer!

Good luck with the morning workouts. I love to snooze, but morning workouts are such a great start to the day. My workout schedule varies, so sometimes I snooze and sometimes I get a workout in in the morning.
Great idea putting your morning oats in the peanut butter jar…yum!

Thanks! I need it. I love sleeping in, but I feel so much better when I work out in the morning.

I've tried to workout in the morning and I can't!! I think it would be easier if I woke up a little later… 5 am for a workout isn't always easy since it's still so dark! Keep up the good work!

Oh man, if I had to wake up at 5 the workout would definitely go out the window.

I'm a terrible snoozer…a serial snoozer. I don't even know why I bother to set my alarm to the time I do! I hope the morning workouts work for you. I couldn't do it…it literally made me feel nauseous.

I'm with you on the snooze – I set my alarm so I can hit snooze at least twice. It's like I try trick myself into thinking that I'm actually sleeping longer than I should.

Enjoy your day off! Sounds like you need one. I am jealous of your busyness, though…

Thanks, I'm ready to do a whole lot of nothing! It's taken some getting used to, but I'm starting to enjoy the hectic mess that is my life.
