So you might’ve heard about a little storm called Nemo that blanketed the Northeast in a ton of snow. While we didn’t get the 30 inches some places got, we were still able to have a blast.
We first ventured out on Friday around 10pm, just when the snow started coming down the hardest. While I shoveled, Alex enjoyed the snow. He loved catching snowflakes on his tongue and falling over into the snow drifts.
In the morning we woke up and got to
work. The snowman wasn’t going to build itself, after all.
There’s nothing like finishing off a good day
in the snow with rosy cheeks, hot cocoa and marshmallows.
Did your area get any snow? What’s your favorite way to warm up after the snow?

My kids were itching to get in the snow as soon as it started to fall. We got over 2 feet and its’ taller than them! Having little ones who enjoy the snow definitely makes it a little easier to tolerate this much snow.

I love having the fireplace going after shoveling a lot of snow.
Good to hear that you got some snow but that you were not hit like some of the other places.

So fun! It looks like you all had a great day.
We ended up with five inches here, but sadly it’s all melting already. I may have to go for another walk in it before it disappears entirely!
