We can only live our lives and pray that we make it through each day safely, otherwise we would never leave our houses.

Now I wonder, is it safe to have them there? Of course, I’ll never stop racing, but am I putting my family in a dangerous situation by wanting to see my smiling support system at the finish line?

I have faith that one day, it’ll be a thing of the past that children and parents have to worry about their family’s safety in situations that shouldn’t be dangerous ones.
