The risk of injury is huge. We saw a lot of ambulances and saw a lot of people wipe out on the slopes. Luckily, we took our time when we felt the terrain was iffy and came out injury free. While the races are pricy, there is a lot of planning that goes into the courses and obstacles, so it makes sense that they are more expensive than other races. They do donate a lot of money to charity also, which is great!

Great photos! I would not do this unless it were free and I had no other big races coming up. Not worth risking the injury.
