In my phone, I have a running list of things that I love and want to share, but lately I haven’t been so good with sharing. I thought it would be fun to start doing an old school blog feature – a Friday Five. Five things that I’ve been really enjoying lately and I think are worth a recommendation.
Megababe Geo Deo: If you have been looking for a good, natural deodorant, look no further. I have tried them all, from drugstore to higher end (cough cough Beautycounter $31 deodorant cough cough) and this one is hands down the best EVER. It was in the 90s this week and I was dry and fresh. I am on my second stick and I’ve never had the nasty rash that comes with lots of other natural deodorants that have baking soda. I don’t know how they did it, but this stuff is the bomb.
Old Navy Sunday Sleep PJs: I’m usually not a matching PJ type of girl, but I have fallen in love with these from Old Navy. They come in a ton of cute patterns, are super soft and make the best work from home bottoms. I’ve only gotten the shorts version so far, but they do have a variety of cuts including joggers and long sleeve tops. Old Navy pro tip: wait for a sale to buy. They literally have sales multiple times a week, so you won’t have to wait long.
FURemover Compact Broom: If you have pets that shed, you need this broom. I’ve had tons of traditional brooms that just send the dog hair into the air and never clean it up. This one collects the hair into a giant pile super easily allowing you so much time to stare and wonder how a small dog could produce so much fur.
Birkenstock Big Buckle: I have been a Birkenstock fan for years and I think you either love them or hate them. They are super comfortable, took zero time to break in and are so cute with the big gold buckles. I know I will have these for years because even though the price is steep, Birkenstocks last forever!
Sol de Janiero Brazilian Crush Cheirosa 68 Beija Flor Perfume Mist: This was an unexpected purchase but I am obsessed with. I was at Kohl’s with Alex looking for a polo for his spring concert when we discovered Kohl’s now has Sephora inside! We browsed some of the aisles and I sprayed this since I had never seen it before, and I knew I had to have it. When your 12 year old says you need to buy it, you know it’s a good find. According to the package, it has notes of pink dragonfruit, lychee, Brazilian jasmine, ocean air and hibiscus, but to my untrained nose it smells amazing and is the perfect sweet, summer fragrance.
