Before the park, we went to Babies R Us to pick up some stuff for our upcoming vacation. I still need to buy munchkin a good life jacket and water shoes. Does anyone have any recomendations? It’s only going to be used for swimming in the pool and splashing around in the ocean.
As soon as munchkin saw the park, he was up and running. He wanted to run across the street and was super impatient when we had to wait for the light to change.
I’m really happy this park finally opened. Its looked ready to go for about two years now, but I guess it was worth the wait. I really like all the greenery and the meandering paths. There’s also a huge hill in the middle that kids were rolling down.
I really hope the park stays like this, but sadly a lot of people don’t know how to respect parks and public places, especially in New York.
