Two years ago today, I stood at the Top of the Rock in Rockefeller Center, nervous, excited and totally infatuated with Tommy. Two years later, he still makes me feel the way I felt that day on our first real date, the night that he asked me to be his girlfriend.

Over the last two years, I have learned what it is to be loved and to love back.

I have found someone that encourages me in everything I want to do, no matter how stupid or silly it may seem to other people.

Someone who will wake up at the crack of dawn to watch me run and to take my picture as I cross the finish line.

Someone who I can talk to about everything and anything, for hours on end, and never run out of things to say.

Someone who makes me feel like a princess every day.

Someone who texts me good morning love, every morning, so that it’s the first thing I see when I wake up.

Someone who I can depend on, no matter the situation.

Someone who listens to me.

Someone who I trust with my whole heart even when times get tough.

Someone who I hope to spend the rest of my life with.

Someone who is my best friend.
