I am the mother of a snacker. My little man can go through the day grazing, never sitting down for a meal and be the happiest kid on the planet. Some meals in our house are mandatory (we all sit down together for dinner, no ifs, ands or buts) but for the rest of the day, I am okay with providing him with healthy snacks to munch on.

While fresh fruits and veggies are the number one things I try to get him to snack on, his current favorite snack are Special K Snack Bars. According to Alex, they are chewy, delicious and nutritious.

I love these bars for him because they are made with wholesome ingredients that you can see like, chocolate chunks, pretzels, real fruit pieces and rolled oats. I also love the fact that they are only 100 calories and the chocolate ones taste like an indulgence without messing up your diet. (I’m trying to look good in a wedding dress over here!)

The bars come in four delicious flavors – Berry Medley, Blueberry Bliss, Salted Caramel Chocolate and Salted Pretzel Chocolate. I honestly can’t decide which ones I like the best, but Alex has claimed the box of Berry Medley as his own.

The snack bars are going to be available in supermarkets and other retailers this month, so be sure to keep an eye out next time you are out shopping. Trust me, these bars are worth looking for!
